TWINI(“we”, “our”, “us”) will be a Luxembourg-based credit bureau providing credit information services to both banks and consumers across the European Union. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data transparently and in compliance with applicable laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  1. Data We Process
    • (PUSH Model) – For creditors that prefer the standard interaction:
      • Borrower identification and contact data
      • Payment history and credit account details provided by participating institutions
    • (PULL Model) – For Fintechs and consumers
      • Data retrieved in real time from your consented financial institutions
      • Identification data to verify your request
  2. Lawful Basis for Processing
    • PUSH Model: Legitimate interest and/or contractual necessity with participating institutions.
    • PULL Model: Explicit consent from the data subject.
  3. Data Retention
    • PUSH Model: Retained in our secure database for the period required by law or regulatory guidelines.
    • PULL Model: Raw data is not stored; only the aggregated report is generated and shared with you/the requesting institution.
    • Minimal retention for analytics (depersonalized) and audit required by law.
  4. Sharing Your Data
    We share personal data only with:
    • Participating financial institutions (for verification)
    • Regulatory authorities where required by law
    • Our service providers (IT hosting, compliance tools), bound by strict confidentiality agreements
    We do not sell your personalized data to third parties.
  5. International Transfers
    Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

    Note: For PUSH data, corrections must be submitted through the original financial institution that provided the data.
  3. Right to Erasure
    You can request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances:
    • Data is no longer necessary
    • You withdraw consent (PULL model)
    • Processing is unlawful
  4. Right to Restrict Processing
    You can request that we limit the use of your data while a dispute or verification is ongoing.
  5. Right to Data Portability
    You can request your data in a machine-readable format to share with another provider.
  6. Right to Object
    You can object to the processing of your data based on legitimate interests.
  7. Withdrawal of Consent
    If you gave consent for the PULL model, you can withdraw it at any time.
